3. Optimise Image Size

Various tools are available online to resize the images without hampering the image quality and sharpness.

4. Responsive Template Is A Must

5. Minimize E-mail Newsletter Load Time

The ideal e-mail newsletter load time should be less than 10 seconds , this is a very important number to keep track of. Simply Google to find out the ways to reduce the e-mail load time, some of them are mentioned here: a) Limit the number of images used in the e-mail newsletter. b) Choose the right format for the image like .jpeg for photographic images, .png for small images and .gif for logo’s etc. c) Draft a concise e-mail newsletter with key information. d) Be very careful while using animated gif’s. 6. Testing

Make sure to test the e-mail newsletter on various tablets like ipad, kindle, samsung tab etc. and multiple smartphones like blackberry, micromax, iphone, htc etc. The e-mail newsletter should also be tested on popular web browsers like opera, safari, google chrome and firefox.

9. Mobile E-mail Newsletter Should Be Light & Appealing

There are couple factors to keep in mind while designing a mobile compatible e-mail newsletter:

  • The size of the image.
  • Number of images to be used.
  • E-mail newsletter layout.
  • Size and font of the text.
